Get someone talking about those they love… and they become incredibly beautiful.
It’s funny, how it works. Love makes us into something else, or rather, into what we were meant to be. I don’t mean the potion of romance, I mean real love. Hear someone talk about their father, their mother, their sibling, their friend, their grandfather… the people that mean something to them, that make them vulnerable. And it’s like watching A Transfiguration.
When people are feeling insecure, judged, and defensive, they can come off as petty, sometimes self-centered, occasionally spiteful, and overall pretty wretched. But see a person loving someone else, and it’s quite a beautiful thing. And it’s in all of us too. Us as we were meant to be.
